October Newsletter
Happy October!
There’s a lot happening at Krombholz Vintage!
In August, we hosted the Cincinnati Antique Jewelry Festival, bringing together 10 regional vendors and more than 550 visitors. It was a fantastic weekend, and we’re already looking forward to what comes next.
Our inventory continues to grow, too, with lots of new antique and vintage finds being added to our website. And later this month, we’ll be hosting our second Thursday Afternoon Tea—a fun opportunity to stop in, visit, and see what’s new.
Izzi has also been busy writing! Her latest blog post, Shadows of October: Victorian Mourning Jewelry and the Rituals of Remembrance, feels especially appropriate for the season.
And with the holidays just around the corner, if you—or someone you know—would enjoy shopping for something truly unique, we’d love to help. We’re settled into our new Mariemont showroom and available for private, one-on-one appointments.
Call or text us at 513-891-1930 to schedule a visit. We’d love to see you!
Our Second Thursday Afternoon Tea
Thursday, October 15, 2026 · 4–6 pm
Our first Thursday Afternoon Tea was such fun that we’re doing it again! Join us later this month for our second Afternoon Tea at Krombholz Vintage—a relaxed chance to stop by without an appointment, enjoy a cup of tea, see what’s new, and, of course, talk jewelry.
Our showroom is still our little tucked-away spot in Mariemont, so if you haven’t visited us yet, just call or text for the location. Our mailing address is different from our showroom address. And if you can’t make it this time, don’t worry—Thursday Afternoon Tea is becoming a Krombholz Vintage tradition!
You Are the First to Know!
The Cincinnati Antique Jewelry Festival returns to
The Barn in Mariemont on August 20 and 21, 2027.

Shadows of October
Victorian Mourning Jewelry and the Rituals of Remembrance
Happy October! With spooky season officially here, Izzi is taking a look at the fascinating—and sometimes haunting—world of Victorian mourning jewelry.
In her latest blog post, Shadows of October: Victorian Mourning Jewelry and the Rituals of Remembrance, she explores the customs, symbolism, and jewelry people used to remember those they had lost. It’s a fitting bit of jewelry history for this time of year. We hope you enjoy it!
