Your Jewelry Deserves a Next Chapter
If you are wondering where to sell antique or vintage jewelry in Cincinnati, we would like you to consider Krombholz Vintage. We actively purchase antique, vintage, estate, and fine jewelry, with particular interest in jewelry from the 1960s and earlier, fine diamonds and gemstones, and signed designer pieces.

“We don’t buy jewelry to melt it, we buy it to keep its story going.”

There is a big difference between buying jewelry for its materials and buying it because of what it is.
When we examine an older piece, we aren’t simply looking at the weight of the gold or platinum. We look at its age, design, craftsmanship, condition, maker, gemstones, rarity, and desirability in today’s vintage jewelry market.
An Art Deco diamond ring, Victorian brooch, Retro bracelet, or beautifully made Mid-Century piece may have value because it has survived intact and represents a particular moment in jewelry history.
We want to preserve that value—not melt it away.
For families who have inherited jewelry, this can be especially important. Selling a piece doesn’t have to mean that its history ends. It can simply mean allowing that piece to begin another chapter with someone who appreciates it.
We are currently paying particularly strong prices for jewelry that fits our vintage collection, including:
We are especially interested in jewelry that has remained intact rather than pieces that have already been dismantled for their stones or precious metal.

A small signature or maker’s mark can make an enormous difference in understanding a piece of jewelry. We are actively looking for signed jewelry by important designers and jewelry houses, including:
We are interested in many other makers as well. You don’t need to know who made your jewelry before contacting us. Identifying and researching older jewelry is part of what we do.

Krombholz has been part of the Cincinnati jewelry community for generations. Today, Krombholz Vintage specializes exclusively in antique, estate, and vintage jewelry. That experience gives us a different perspective when we buy.
We understand that sometimes the most valuable part of an older piece isn’t obvious. It may be the maker, the period in which it was made, an unusual diamond cut, exceptional hand craftsmanship, or simply the fact that the piece has survived for generations in remarkably original condition.
And because we purchase jewelry to resell as jewelry—not simply for its gold or stones—we can consider the value of the whole piece when making our offer.
You don’t need to decide what is valuable before contacting us.
Perhaps you inherited a jewelry box and aren’t sure what you have. Maybe you have your mother’s or grandmother’s jewelry that no one in the family is wearing. Or you may simply have pieces you bought years ago that no longer suit you.
That’s perfectly fine.
You don’t need to clean anything or research it first. We would rather see the jewelry as it is and help you understand what you have.
There is no charge for a purchase estimate and no obligation to sell.
If we see something we would like to purchase, we’ll make you an offer. If we think a piece deserves additional research or should be handled differently, we’ll tell you.
We’ve made the process simple, private, and personal.

Jewelry was made to be worn. If pieces that once belonged to you, your parents, or your grandparents are spending their days tucked away in a drawer or safe deposit box, there may be someone else who would treasure the opportunity to wear them.
At Krombholz Vintage, we aren’t looking for jewelry to melt. We’re looking for jewelry worth preserving.
If you have antique, vintage, estate, diamond, gemstone, or designer jewelry you are considering selling in Cincinnati, send us a few photographs.
Your family’s jewelry may be ready for its next chapter.
